You come a long way baby!!!!

I watched the women of TV last night.  I really liked it.  I think that women have come a long way since the days of Father Knows best and the Donna Reed Show.  However I also think that shows in the 1950-1960 were based on how life was then. I really think it is how you perceive a show you our watching.  I also think that there is a difference between reality and fantasy.  To me TV is a form of entrainment.. When I watch shows I watch them to have a laugh or a cry, not to base my life on how they are portraying a person on TV.  I loved the Mary Tyler Moore show, I thought it was well written and funny, but I watch it because it was entertaining not because of women's rights.  Hope you like this clip....
