Anyone remember "captain Kangaroo"

I remember for a very short time as a very little kid watching the Captain Kangaroo Show. I found a link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0aa1nCG-5tg which has episode from 1976. It seems like the equivalent today would be Blues Clues or Disney Play house.

    I have heard ppl talk about this show but i never actually watched it. I was born un 76 so i wasnt quite old enough to watch the show. I think it would be interesting to watch an episode. So i can at least say ive watched it. lol

    Yes I remember them with Mr. Green Jeans and I believe it was moose? I have a couple of old shows to watch at class one day.

    Yes! I loved Captain Kangaroo, Mr. Green Jeans and Dancing Bear! Oh yes, and the Moose and golf balls falling from the sky! lol
