My parents watched the PTL Club with Jim Bakker and Tammy Faye, his wife. Also the 700 Club, which is still on the air. I wasn't ever a fan of these programs myself.
The weirdest thing I remember about televangelist programs was that my third child (who is now 20) used to love to watch Joyce Meyers on TV when she was about 2-3 yrs old. An odd kid, my daughter wanted either Joyce Meyers, Plaza Sesamo, or a funny little novela Carousel, which featured little kids in soap opera situations.
